On 23 June 2016 Britain voted to leave the European Union. As a passionate Remainer, and as someone who works with a large number of European colleagues, I wanted to deliver a message about the referendum result: Brexit Leaves Britain Naked. Shortly after the vote, I therefore held a day of naked protest, attending numerous work meetings with colleagues wearing nothing other than my shoes. You can read more about the protest in the following links:
On 6 February 2018 Britain celebrated 100 years of 'Votes for Women'. Both in celebration of this momentous anniversary, but also and more importantly to show how much further we have to go to secure women's freedom, I turned up naked at The Shard in London to be interviewed by Ayesha Hazarika on the weekly podcast of UnHerd, with the following words written across my body: 'My Body, My Choice'. We recorded the 30-minute Podcast in their offices on the 25th floor overlooking the City of London.
You can listen to the podcast here and view a photo from the recording here (contains nudity).
